Back to HomeScanStir is developed by HBS Engineering ApS located in Denmark. We have more than 20 years experince in developing models of Friction Stir Welding. The main developer is Dr. Henrik Blicher Schmidt. He has published several papers on friction stir welding focusing on the numerical implementation of different heat sources and flow models.
